Randy Shaw, editor of BeyondChron and head of Tenderloin Housing Clinic has banned Christmas from all 16 of his buildings You can see it for yourself at any of these buildings by looking in the front window. Not a single Christmas tree. This is not city policy either as other similar organizations that contract with the city have no such policy, and therefore have Christmas trees in their lobby

Technically, Tenderloin Housing Clinic allows no religious based anything in the common areas. If it’s based on religion, the speech is not allowed, with the possible exception of funerals, which I’ve seen.The residents therefore cannot bring in a Christmas tree and put it in the lobby. This means that 16 buildings in San Francisco will have no Christmas because of Randy Shaw
However, there is a banned extremist group operating in the buildings known to have ties with the 12/25 mastermind himself, Santa. Bluoz recently went undercover to document the activities of the Christmas Liberation Front

Please help these people get a Christmas tree by writing to beyondchron and the Board of Supervisors, since THC and all of their buildings are under contract with the city, approved by the supervisors
uodate, some of the emails being sent out, to Chris Daly, for example: I just want you to know that your ban on Christmas trees and ornamentation in the THC lobby (in the name of “political correctness”, I’m sure), has quite effectively removed a measure of happiness from the lives of the people who live here.
I note with interest that THC is the only provider of supportive housing in San Francisco that does not allow the celebration of the Christmas holiday in its common areas. The hotels of TNDC, Mercy, TODCO, and CHP all have Christmas trees and ornamentation in their lobbies.
I reiterate, you have removed a measure of happiness from the lives of your tenants, whose lives are not easy by anyone’s standards, and by so doing you have lowered yourself and THC another notch in the eyes of many in our community.
