Tenderloin Housing Clinic federal tax form 990 2009

Because Randy Shaw still refuses to publish Tenderloin Housing Clinics financials, unlike other non profits like TNDC,

this blog will publish it

the 2008-2009 Tenderloin Housing Clinic federal tax form 990, now expanded under new IRS reporting rules in 2009 for non profits. This form is required for all 501c.3 non profit and charity organizations

For Tenderloin Housing Clinic, San Francisco’s largest provider of homeless housing, the 2009 budget has increased by over 1 million dollars despite California’s and San Francisco’s budget crisis. (compare with the 2008 federal form 990)

Total revenues, 99.95 % public funding, 24.5 million dollars. Randy Shaw now pays himself 125,000 dollars a year, up from last year (124, 000) (it’s likely higher now because there is is an 18 month delay in this filing from current activities)

also, keep in mind that San Francisco officials who fund Tenderloin Housing Clinic may be wholly unaware of the federal filings that are required and might not even give a shit as long as the dollars are rolling in. There is NO database other than this and the California Attorney Generals Office (Jerry Brown), and direct funding via certain channels and governmental organizations, such as the San Francisco Human Services Agency (the welfare department)…there is NO database that connects all these governmental agencies together with private/publicly funded contractors such as THC….despite the increasing use of contractors such as THC to fulfill perceived public needs previously relegated to government and regulated agencies
