There will be a protest rally to defend fired SEIU 1021 Tenderloin Housing Clinic shop steward Nate Holmes on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 10:00 AM at 126 Hyde St. San Francisco. In a union busting and racist move the director Randy Shaw illegally fired Nate and then ordered the workers not to talk with him or they would be disciplined.

SEIU 1021 shop steward of the Tenderloin Housing Clinic run by Randy Shaw was fired after he tried to enforce the union contract. The management has also discriminated against Black workers and others at the center and violated the contract in new hires. Nate Holmes is having a picket to let the management know at THC that union busting and racism will not be tolerated by the labor movement and community at the THC.
