update July 15, 2010 – Michael Harris acquitted
the 17th homicide in San Francisco took place one week ago

To Whom it may concern,
I am a resident of the Dalt Hotel, have been since 09/2004 , I had countless altercations with suspect Michael Harris, I had to obtain a restraining order against him after he forced his way into my room back in December of 2008, he then tried to attack me in the lobby area as I was filling a incident report, police were then called.
In the past 6 months Mr. Michael; Harris room 647 , directly above me would pound on his floor, which is my ceiling, dropping heavy objects, banging on the walls, arguing with his babies momma for hours at a time, loud talking at all hours of the night, repeated death treats were made my Mr. Harris towards me.
I requested that I be allowed to change rooms, nothing was ever done , to insure my safe, enjoyment of myself in my room , more to insure Mr. Harris was kept from harming anyone here at the Dalt, Manager Teresa Flores had more than 6months of written complaints, police reports, and personal testimonial from me about Mr. Michael Harris’s continued threats and assaults, he drank heavily, he used crack cocaine, management was well aware of all of this yet continued to ignore my complaints and my repeated requests to change rooms due to his banging, dropping heavy objects, he also flooded his room while defrosting his refrigerator, which leaked water through his floor, my ceiling , right on top of all my expensive electronics, Had I not been home at the time in order to cover my electronics, they would all have been damaged by water leakage from room 647.
Mr. Michael Harris also accosted me in the elevator about a year ago, I was so shocked at the time I did not file a police report of incident report about this personal sexual assault on my person.
I also attempted to correct my rent payment with Manager Teresa Flores , THC pays my rent to TNDC, however they failed to include my rent increase in last two rent payments, I have a speech impairment , I was told by manager to call THC myself , because she was ‘BUSY’ at the time, and wait to speak with the social worker even though this was a rent issue .
I am attempting to move out of this dangerous place, people had died down the hall, across the hall, and now directly above me all in the past year.
I place blame at the managers feet , she knew about Mr. Michael Harris , yet chose not to take any action what’s so ever to protect, rent paying tenants .
