This is a screen shot taken from the new dvd Jonestown The Life and Death of people Temple. Somebody had told me years ago that it was next door to the famous Fillmore Auditorium concert hall, and I wasn’t quite sure, since it’s been a dirt lot ever since I could remember. In the extras on the dvd, there is this photo of what it looked like before it burned down
Sure enough, that’s the Fillmore building on the left, so people standing in line to see a concert were literally at the peoples temple front door…freaky!
I bet alot of people to this day that go to the Fillmore have no idea what that dirt lot next door once was
