While the state is closing parks, San Francisco is making new ones. Say hello to our newest park at 16th and 8th near Portero Hill. It’s right around the corner from the Hooper Street Garden
this is #3 of the Pavement to Parks project and has been under construction for a couple of weeks and is near completion. SF Streetsblog (best blog in SF) has photos back in May of what it used to look like and the design process earlier this month
