Apparently Jennifer Chen at JC Investments (or one of the tenants) has been renting empty office space to hundreds of ravers lately, who have been scrawling graffiti all over Mid Market, including Kaplan’s surplus store next door. It’s either that or these party goers have illegal possession of the key to the building and are breaking into the building
update from Jennifer Chen
I just wanted to follow up on our previous communications.
I have sent a strongly worded notice to the tenants at 1061 Market Street, and am conducting an investigation into the responsible parties. I plan to follow up my letter with direct communication with the tenants. Please rest assured we are taking appropriate action to prevent a repeat of last weekend’s events.
With respect to your blog, I note that I am identified in your November 12, 2011 entry: “Apparently Jennifer Chen at JC Investments has been renting empty office space to hundreds of ravers lately, who have been scrawling graffiti all over Mid Market, including Kaplan’s surplus store next door…” Following this, you do posit an alternate explanation, but the above is the first and most impactful statement. I would appreciate it if you could, at a minimum, include an update to the blog entry which incorporates my response, namely that the landlord JC Investment did not authorize any of the raves, and is taking prompt action to prevent a recurrence of such events.
As per our email exchange, please feel free to call me any time you ever see similar activity on site. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Chen
even sprayed graffiti on the roof for the cherry on top
They hit Kaplan’s hard. I saw them do it just before I took the video, and now there’s graffiti like this all up and down Stevenson
