the Bansky piece at Erie and Mission just off Division is getting a major work over this week, and it started yesterday with a block party at 161 Erie
Public Works, Pink Mammoth and The Fringe Collective will host a benefit for ROOT DIVISION and The SAN FRANCISCO PARKS TRUST.
OUT SIDE ART: a new community-building endeavor that combines San Francisco’s art, music and green cultures.
An outdoor event for the whole family, Out Side Art is bringing together a talented group of artists and DJs to represent some of San Franciscos most creative scenes.
The primary artistic focus of this event will be a coordinated effort by local artists to complete a Mural started by the internationally renowned British artist BANKSY.

On April 27, 2010. just days after the original Bansky work appeared, the first tags appeared and it looked like this. It has since been erased as has numerous others
except for this one, which went up a month ago and is the only addition to remain to this day
earlier today, 4 artists were working on the the building and this is what it looks like now, still not finished
the tree on the right is not just a painting but more 3D with hardware on the side of the building..It sticks out from the building
