There is a relatively unknown documentary on DVD that profiles the life of a working security guard in downtown San Francisco who lives in this same Potter Hotel called Waging a Living. Excellent documentary. This is one of the few remaining SRO hotels where it’s not exclusively welfare recipients, and there are still working people left
