want clothes cheaper than the Goodwill?. This actually is the Goodwill but most clothes here are 2 dollars or a dollar. For some reason, you can usually find the oddest t-shirts you can’t find at the regular Goodwill (or anywhere else). I guess Goodwill only puts certain types of t-shirts on regular display and dumps the rest here, so this is where you can find the really weird stuff sometimes. You can also call it The Ongoing Museum of Oddball Vintage Clothing too.
It used to be much more of a free for all where they’d wheel out the carts and you’d spend time in elbow fights with little old ladies from the Excelsior, which was half the fun. But now it’s much more orderly and you sign up for a ticket and get your own bin. People who don’t get a ticket wait and scavenge anything dropped on the floor.
