Got word that visiting Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts professor Jan Gehl spoke down at Pier 1 last night from Streetsblog and Rincon Hill. Of course, since this involves making cities pedestrian and bike friendly, one doesn’t have search far to find that Rob Anderson is all up in Ghels follicles, clawing away
I figure it’s time to show some photos from Copenhagen since I know a couple people from there. And as a side note, this also has to do with the recent news item about traffic noise in San Francisco causing health problems because my friends in Denmark tell me that some areas are really nice and less noisy without all the cars and less stressfull.
