Tenderloin Housing Clinic’s showcase building is just over one year old now at 785 Brannan (Beyond Chron)

Randy Shaw, head of the Tenderloin Housing Clinic, said Harris had lived in other properties run by the nonprofit and “was a very good tenant. It’s not like it’s someone off the street involved in the drug trade.”
Crack was involved. Several folks in the building are in the drug trade, nothing happens to them in spite of the ‘rules’ The manager, who quit this week, and worked very hard to keep the building up, and safe, found out that THC would do little to help him. (one source)
The situation here has, in the one short year since it opened, devolved into one where tenants are attacked by the “house guests” of other tenants, the elevator is broken by the same house guests (how many months, or years, will pass before it is fixed?), there is open drug dealing on premises, the excellent building manager quits because of a complete lack of support from THC (another source)

this vandalism apparently refers to the new ‘in house’ flunkie THC management recently hired to replace the one who just quit in disgust (not the first time it’s happened either and is already documented in previous lawsuits)
