bike cam: about 9:30am, Apr 9, 2007, from 7th and Bryant, up 7th, turn right on Market, then on to just past 5th street.
In this video, the first block, 7th and Harrison, former mayoral candidate Matt Gonzales jaywalks through a red light on his way to court (he’s in the dark suit just past the first block, and he walks right in front of the bike cam)
If you watch closely as I leave the intersection, Matt is basically just starting across the street on the other side. I didn’t know it was him until after I passed, and I recognized him
then a few minutes later at 6th and Market, a biker blows a red light. I originally got this cam setup to show people what it’s like to really bike the streets of San Francisco, to show what it was like from a bike perspective, and it seems more important now than everm especially with accusations back and forth on message boards after this latest critical mass fiasco
below is a photo blow up of Matt Gonzales. It’s about the best i can do with the video. I didn’t want to turn around and get a better shot….it’s a minor thing, but still, it’s all walks of life, drivers, walkers and bikers
