The rubble on the right would be where the new City Place/market Street Place will be built

The Wikimedia Commons website offers a multitude of historical images with no restrictions on use. This 1906 James M. Davis stereoview titled An Afternoon on Market Street after the Great Earthquake, San Francisco is from the B. W. Kilburn Company. The Kilburn brothers publishing co was founded in 1865 and Benjamin assumed full control in 1877.
