The Honey Run gets painted

Many people are familiar with the Honey Run Covered Bridge near Chico, California, a registered historic bridge, but further up the Honey Run Road going to Paradise, California, the locals in the last 10 years or so have turned the road into an ongoing art and writing display, right on the road

The artwork/messages/graffiti stretches for miles and gets heavy in certain places. This is the old road from Chico to Paradise and there's so little traffic on it now, much less than 30 years ago, that it's almost abandoned. You'll get maybe 20 cars a day on this road now. This is why people have so much time to sit there and draw on the road. I can see it some day becoming an attraction to itself

there has been a few other posts about this here, here, here, and here, but it's not really well known
