Help expand the public archive

Getting more from PACER? Install RECAP first.

RECAP is a browser extension. When you obtain public court records through PACER with the extension enabled, it can contribute those records to the RECAP archive so other readers can access them free. It also helps you find copies already available in the archive. PACER access may incur fees; installing RECAP does not make every PACER document free.

Install RECAP for Firefox ↗Official RECAP guide and other browsers ↗

Useful additions include complaints and affidavits, plea agreements, government and defense sentencing memoranda, and final judgments. Check the existing archive before purchasing a copy.

Some upload situations require troubleshooting. See Free Law Project’s upload help. Contributions are made by readers using PACER; this page does not purchase or upload court filings.

Sources, credits and scope

This collection was researched using the CourtListener plugin in ChatGPT to search RECAP and read available filing text. Credit for the court-record archive goes to CourtListener, the RECAP project, Free Law Project, and the contributors who make public filings freely accessible. These credits do not imply endorsement of this page.

Initial searches covered criminal dockets filed since January 1, 2025 in N.D. California, requiring “Tenderloin” together with fentanyl or methamphetamine/meth. This selection favors Tenderloin and SOMA references and misses cases using other locations or terminology. Search hits do not by themselves establish the incident location or the nature of the charge.

Listings sharing a base case number are grouped, but different defendants’ records must still be checked separately. Artiaga and Arteaga are retained as separate case numbers. The Jameson keyword match was excluded after review because the prosecution described ammunition offenses and mentioned meth only in personal history.

Availability reflects the archive index at research time. Duplicate docket records and older filings carried into newer criminal dockets can create conflicting metadata. This page does not establish any defendant’s connection to supportive housing, city benefits or HSH programs.

Why final judgments matter

Sentencing memoranda ask for an outcome. A judgment records the sentence actually imposed. For example, the Martinez judgment contains a different geographic boundary from the proposed stay-away zone in several other filings. Boundaries and exceptions must be read case by case.
