Matthew;
Thank you for your patience. Your letter has presented me with many
possibilities to consider. Promoting the events and music of the 60's is
exactly the type of activity I'd always had in mind. I have no problem at all
with considering publishing a link to SFSound.com, when you come on line.
I believe I might be of help to you in setting up and promoting your site.
I've been something of the poor step-child since the alledged "Official" Moby
Grape web page went up. I have some ideas for setting up a specific type of
site, called a "portal." As well as for new and creative ways to display
information on a site.
Since the band's geocities page gets the lion's portion of attention (at the
moment, at least), I haven't been able to accumulate much of a fan list
myself. And most of those are friends of Jerry Miller. I'd be happy to help
you put those names of yours into a database for mailing, newsletters, etc.,
of course, I'd like to be able to have access to them in the future myself. I
have some *great* ideas for the fan letters as well, but we can talk about
that later.
And that's some of my dilemma. I'm not inherently opposed to the commercial
use of this site but I have no immediate and only rather fuzzy long term
plans. I'd be happy to revew your licensing terms and I'm certainly open to
your proposals. In fact, I'm quite certain that we can have a positive and
mutually beneficial relationship.
Matthew, I can not tell you how exasperated I get, it would be a pleasure to
be able to work with a true "professional," and an accomplished one at that. I
welcome the opportunity to bring mobygrape.com forward with the current
