It&#8217;s the 2nd street on ramp to the Bay Bridge, the last one before you go to Oakland, and apparently a ton of people like to take this shortcut to the east bay. But between 3-7pm, every day, it&#8217;s a carpool lane, and if you&#8217;re by yourself, it&#8217;s a 380 dollar ticket. I can sit there on the sidewalk at 333 Bryant and 501 2nd and watch people as they come up the hill and screech to  a halt and turn around when they see the CHP. It&#8217;s gotten to the point where people are almost coming out of their offices with lawn chairs and popcorn just to watch this circus. Sometimes it gets so people are pulled over every 30 seconds.
