Ironically, some of them are close friends of Sweet Mellisa herself, but even she realizes something goofy happened. Ok here&#8217;s how it goes, according to her &#8211; timeline<\/p>\n<p><em>So, just to be clear on how this dance goes:<\/p>\n<p>Step 1: Begrudgingly fund the center in this year\u2019s budget.<\/p>\n<p>Step 2: Tell everyone to vote against Prop. L because it is unnecessary \u2014 the center has already been funded! (Daly and McGoldrick signed just such an argument in the voter pamphlet.)<\/p>\n<p>Step 3: When Prop. L fails, claim that it means people don\u2019t want the center so we should de-fund it.<\/p>\n<p>WTF?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livinintheloin.com\/2008\/12\/04\/daly-dance\/\">Livin in the Loin has more in depth coverage too<\/a>.
