I recently had a discussion about medical pot here in SF with a well known pot activist and the basic premise was the possibility of intruding on the rights of non smokers nearby. I have nothing myself against medical pot, and I smoked myself for many years. I once had a neighbor 6 years ago who had advanced AIDS, weight 90 pounds at 6ft, and I would help him get it, as that was about the only way he could keep food down, so I’ve seen that myself. But I don’t remember him smoking it where it filled up the common areas either. <\/p>\n

it just seems it has to do more with common courtesy along the lines of having designated smoking areas like cigarette smokers do, where non smokers can at least move a little down the street, you know?<\/p>\n
