(commercially available portable recorders outside of Japan)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/MiniDisc\">http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/MiniDisc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>(this first generation mini disc, now long out of print and defunct, is now comparable to a current LAME mp3 192kbs) This copy is on a low quality cassette tape that didn&#8217;t retain full quality after 15 years.
