The long version of the Bart protest on Monday, August 22, 2011 from a bike. Or what it’s like to walk up and down Market street. There are plenty of short clips and highlights and blog posts<\/a> and news stories<\/a> about it elsewhere. This is the uncut long version, as much a test of lengthy video dump as an observer than anything else. There’s more than an hour of video here with a few dicey moments, and it’s only the part of the protest that went down Market to the Ferry Building, not the group that was arrested at the library. . There is one incident where a BART commuter attacked the protest and was himself surrounded by the crowd, but you can see most of it was peaceful and non-eventful, not much different than the thousands of other protests along Market street, except for a smaller number of more radical types overturning garbage cans<\/p>\n
