Map behavior: The 2,839 red drug/deal dispatch points are an independent reference layer. They are ON by default and can be switched off without affecting Layers 1–6.
Research map: Layer 2 is the expanded 22-property Additional Housing dataset and includes PSH, mixed affordable/supportive housing, extremely-low-income SOS housing with resident services, transitional housing, shelters and navigation centers. The 2026 review also documents DAHLIA + Senior Operating Subsidy (SOS) as a distinct pathway into deeply affordable housing; it is not the same as HSH Coordinated Entry. Transitional housing remains in Layer 2 when it belongs to this 21-property research set. Layer 3 contains the reconciled Reentry / Recovery Housing inventory; records still carrying a VERIFY flag are explicitly labeled. Layer 4 contains the reconciled Treasure Island supportive/recovery housing points with distributed programs documented without fabricated dots. Layer 5 remains a research overlay showing scattered-site housing/program coverage only—not apartment locations—and its shading is click-through so underlying markers remain clickable. Exact private scattered-site residences are intentionally not displayed. Layer 6 contains 15 distinct green markers after the 2026 fixed-site and sobering-services review. RESET Center at 444 6th St is included as a distinct drug-sobering/stabilization subtype rather than a conventional walk-in harm-reduction site. SFCHC Community Living Room / Tenderloin Wellness Clinic at 730 Polk St also qualifies as a current harm-reduction/syringe-services site, but that physical address is already represented in the unchanged Layer 1 DPH dataset, so it is not added as a duplicate dot. Layer 6 is analytically separate from housing.
The original mapped records now include Caldrake Hotel: 133 PSH, 31 shelters, 59 DPH-list records and 5 drug-rehab records = 228 original mapped locations. Newly researched harm-reduction locations already represented at the same address in the original 227 are not added as duplicate dots. Layer counts are records; multiple programs can share an address. Public CAD locations are anonymized intersections and do not identify the caller or prove a connection to a nearby program.
