This time lapse video from January 30-31, 2012 has multiple things going on. It's also a tale of San Francisco's urban recyclers and the story of two buildings in the Mid market area and how their Recology bins get taken apart all night long creating such a mess that the rats come out. You can actually see the rats come at at the 5 minute mark almost center of the video, which is about 4am

The video is 10 hours compressed into 6 minutes > FLV > AVI > 30fps > 1fps > 90fps

San Francisco's first ever crackhead time lapse, January 14th, Midnight to 2am. 2 hours compressed into 1 minute. Crackheads gather off and on in upper left corner

PS, this was done in Virtualdub, a free program for many years and after all these years, still does more than many paid video programs

although this is the first time lapse direct from video I ever heard of using VD. It's a bit complicated for most people. It's not quite like making time lapse from photos...except it is, and it isn't...hehe
