It's A Beautiful Day - Bombay Calling - Anaheim Convention Center, February 7, 1970
possibly the most frenetic version of Bombay Calling ever, they brought the house down and conjured up Toltec deities
It's A Beautiful Day, 1970, the very first personnel change with Fred Webb (upper left corner) replacing Linda LaFlamme on keyboards

It Crawled From The Vault #19
one of the most unique sounds ever to come from San Francisco
It's A Beautiful Day - Bombay Calling - live Fillmore auditorium, June 12, 1998
this is one of the last times all the remaining living original members of It's A Beautiful Day played live in San Francisco. They were the headline that night, a Saturday
Opening was Country Joe and Lydia Pense and Cold Blood. This original lineup is unlikely to happen again, although David LaFlamme and another band is scheduled for Westfest in Golden Gate Park in a couple months
UPDATE - One of the original members in these photos, Mitchel Holman will also be at Westfest with The Psychedelic Saints
Photos from inside the Fillmore were taken by Rosie Wagenet, wife of the original guitar player, Hal Wagenet

Mitchell Holman and David LaFlamme (bass, violin, vocals)

Bruce Steinberg (harmonica, album photography)

Hal Wagenet (guitar)

It Crawled From The Vault #18
San Francisco legends Moby Grape
Unreleased rarities, Santa Cruz resident Bob Mosley on bass and vocals
update, this actually was released in 1986. It is Bob Mosley - Wine and Roses (see below)
the track is Nevada Jail. This album is extremely hard to get as only1000 500 copies were ever made. If it is possible to get this, I'll update this page
Moby Grape is still around and might still perform sometime, after having won their name back. Omar Spence, Skip Spence's son, has been playing with them and they have a new album on the way

Here's a rare uncropped photo of the famous 1st album from 1967, with the finger that was later airbrushed out by CBS records
