certainly don't have to go to the Playa to see people lounging around naked after slamming some meth

As usual SF misses the point: the reason no one shops on mid-Market has nothing to do with bikes or cars (as if any sane person would drive down Market looking for a place to park so he can nip into a shop anyway): it San Francisco's policy of maintaining that area as a wildlife preserve for the feral homeless. Why would anyone want to run that gauntlet to buy things that are on sale in much safer and more salubrious areas all over the Bay Area?

Club 6 patrons at 1:20am this morning. In the video one Club 6 member asks me for money to video tape, and then you can hear the DJ yelling about how the old guy upstairs has been complaining. That would be Jim Ayers, who lives directly above where this crowd is yelling. Basically, Club 6 staff and patrons are going out of their way to disturb the neighbors now, after three years of complaints

this first became news three years ago and also mentioned on this blog where you can hear an audio interview with Jim Ayers

Club 6 is now intentionally trying to make the neighbors miserable This wasn't people leaving either. These people specifically came out side and targeted senior citizens living directly above them, yelling as loud as they can for more than one hour, then they went back inside and partied some more



Shame on you, Angel Cruz. There's a special place in hell for people who target senior citizens

update, this is the same spot during the day. Yes there are people that live directly above where these people were yelling at 1am

first photo taken by a neighbor of mine, mid Market, near 6th street, San Francisco, last year in December of a peregrine falcon. That's much harder to photograph 'in the wild' because they're a lot faster and don't stick around for long



the red tail hawks are a bit slower, and sometimes perch for 10 seconds or longer

this one landed 15 feet from my window today

if you're in the mid market area, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th streets, market street near there, a little south of market and some nearby parts of the tenderloin, especially if you see flocks of pigeons flying around like mad

look up, you might see this



what is attracting them to this area is the large number of people, some of them 'mentally ill', who feed the pigeons on a daily basis. Ask the city street sweepers about it sometime. They'll tell you about the homeless, semi-homeless (housed) who throw food out the window or dump food on the sidewalk for the pigeons

this, in turn, attracts these birds of prey, who find the large flocks of pigeons an easy feast (compared to the real wilderness)

somebody fired off a couple rounds at 6th and Natoma, around 1:40pm. I don't think anyone was hurt

to the driver in the white car who drove away from the accident scene, you lost part of your vehicle and nearly whacked a bicyclist with the part falling off while escaping

each month, a new artist is profiled and the wall on 6th street gets painted
