The Peace and Freedom Party calls for the reinstatement of San Francisco SEIU 1021 shop steward Nathaniel Holmes at the San Francisco Tenderloin Housing Clinic operated by Randy Shaw. His illegal firing and the discrimination against him and all members of the union by the order of Human Resources that no worker could talk with Brother Holmes or they would be disciplined is an attack on all labor. The Peace and Freedom Party opposes all attacks on workers rights and is against racism in the workplace which is an issue in this dispute.

Community activists and union members will be protesting outside of Randy Shaw's residence for the racist and unfair treatment workers that exists at Tenderloin Housing Clinic. We will be exposing the real way that Shaw goes about dealing with workers. Tenderloin Housing Clinic receives funds from the city and county of San Francisco, however it appears that there is no code of conduct for Shaw's and no accountability to taxpayers of San Francisco. Shaw 's cozy relationship with SEIU1021 management permits him to get away with transferring shop stewards, sweeping grievances under the carpet, sending out threatening memos to workers, not filing for arbitration on time all at the expense of the rank and file workers. The time has come to expose all of these unfair dealing. Prepare to join us, the labor movement cannot afford to let these racist thugs and union busters continue to thrive in our neighborhood. SEIU staffers including SEIU Field Rep Patti Tamura refused to file grievances over the illegal firing of Tenderloin Housing Clinic SEIU 1021 shop steward Nate Holmes. Tamura has refused to respond to calls from the fired steward and the union officials are apparently in bed with the boss Randy Shaw. They seem to be more interested in defending Shaw than standing up for the workers and fighting the racist attacks. Call Patty Tamura and ask her why she refuses to fight for SEIU 1021 steward Nate Holmes and won't even take his calls.
