the original video was from June of 2007 and showed late night clubgoers, probably from Club 6, since it was 2:30am and those two places are the only ones open at that time

Trutv found the video on Youtube and made a clip of it, but it was removed from Youtube and nobody knows why

Something that might have been missed, is the two THC residents, Bob Bowers (9:40) and Byron Griffin (10:30) are currently residents of the Galvin apartments which, as you can see from the link, involves the exact same Joe Cassidy who donated 900 Innes to THC recently.

in terms of support of THC at this hearing, this was posted in all their buildings (on every floor in this one) in the days leading up to it. This is how they drum up support, from their Care not Cash buildings, largely publicly funded by the city of SF. Since it is publicly funded, I'm sure Shaw and THC wouldn't have a problem with the India Basin Neighborhood Association posting their own flyer in the same buildings?



Also, as Randy Shaw says and commented on Curbed, when it was still Cassidy's project it went from 170 to 208 units in 2007, so supposedly when 900 Innes gets preserved it will lose 12 units which would bring it down to 196, so this would be a loss in THC?

Preserving 900 Innes is a great thing, in my opinion, but I'll bet the people of Bayview are going to have a bigger problem on their hands when they find out just how much extra police, fire, ambulance are going to be showing up in the new THC apartments every single day, if the past is any indication

Maybe this is a good example of the 'bashful' Olympic torch run in SF, eh?

People traveled thousands of miles to see this only to have the torch run changed at the last minute across the city in the Marina where only a few hundred saw it. This is likely a once in a lifetime event for San Francisco

and now it's gone, and very few people got to see it...because our beloved mayor got stage fright..bashful..scared..frightened at the possibility of protests

I'm thoroughly embarrassed now, as a citizen of SF (see video)

In a stunning development, Randy Shaw, executive director of Tenderloin Housing Clinic, decided to spend a month living in one of his own THC buildings, undercover and in disguise, and learned that instead of helping the homeless, he's actually been running crack cocaine ring for over 20 years, which of course, is a major cause of homelessness

In a rare spasm of remorse, Shaw issued a public apology earlier today to the many neighborhood residents and businesses affected by the increased crime rate associated with this ring for the past 20 years.

in a final move sure to shock city hall and Chris Daly, Shaw admitted that he's been living a lie and duping progressives into thinking he's one too. Shaw says he has converted to Buddhism, closed THC, and is now living in exile in Tibet
