love letter found many years ago
I found this love letter in an old Grateful Dead Family Album book I bought for a buck either at a garage sale in the Haight, or a flea market in downtown San Francisco many years ago. I've kept the book all this time because of this letter, even tho the book is in horrible condition. There's even oil stains on the letter. Anyway, there is no other information in the book, nothing else written, just the letter. I'm reminded to finally scan this after seeing this SFist post. I'd like to find the owner and return it someday. Click on for a larger view and feel free to copy and send anywhere if you think that might help..Thanks

Club 6 and the controversy
update May 25, SFist posted a story this morning on it
In response to the Bay Guardian article and the BeyondChron response and the subsequent response to the response, I would like to offer what nobody has so far, an audio interview with Jim Ayers who was quoted and possibly misquoted in the Bay Guardian, and who initially filed the small claims action against Club Six last year and won. Jim lives directly above Club Six. I live at the Seneca almost next door, but I'm facing the opposite way, so I can sometimes hear the deep bass late at night, but I can't see anything and can't tell if it's sometimes from passing boomer cars. But 6 months ago, i can say for sure there was alot more drunk people yelling and screaming in Jessie Alley (club 6), that one thing has gotten better
well, I will let him tell the rest. you can download or listen right here on the flash player, like a podcast

now here's a fight that happened nearby, Sunday morning at 2:50am May 20, 2007 at Mythic Pizza
ok, I know they're coming from the other way, but one person told me these people were at Club Six earlier (at one point you can see one of them waving toward Club six). Mythic Pizza is only a few doors down from Club Six, and is something we didn't see alot of before Club Six. These people don't live here, that's for sure. The owner of Mythic Pizza, Saad, wasn't quite sure himself, but he did say the customers from Anu club across the street are mostly alot better than the ones from Club Six..that is, cause less problems.
anyway, once again, it's the 6th Street family entertainment hour..enjoy

angle3...This is probably the best one
update, September 29, 2010, the above three videos have been removed by Youtube because somebody complained and doesn't want you to see them. To the asswipe who complained, this blog backs EVERYTHING up...here are the video's once again

and finally, here's 3 earlier videos of Club six I took last year, to help Jim Ayers document some stuff...Doesn't show too much, the microphone is not quite matched and is quieter than it should be. Either way, I offered to go up there and make a video of how loud it is, but only so much can be felt on a video. You can't feel the floorboards shaking on a video. Like he said, only one person has actually bothered to go upstairs and see it for themselves when it's at full swing at 2am

Maria Mango on Haight Street
a few minutes with maria mango. The sound isn't very good as the mic is behind the seat. But she has a website on myspace (where you can listen to a nice song) and buy a few and mariamango.com

Marc Salomon perl scripts banned on the wall
for that matter, it looks like all of Marc Salomon's posts are gone. I thought it was pretty funny at times
this stuff is still up on Junto for example but nearly identical posts are all gone from the Wall
two similar San Francisco political discussion groups, one takes the perl script, the other can't handle it
btw, I once had a neighbor that actually talked like this. More like mumbling and ranting, example >
Tranquilizer always are, drug cult quality of life. Fighting crime Haight Ashbury quality of life vile. The bodily fluids the commuting drug dealers impunity, mental illness. Were progressive addicts, worthless piece of shit.
Elitism, disrupt Milk Club humorless sect. Stoned street prostitution self-absorbed, Cheryl Brodie, fiesty feminist. Squawky prostitute, drunk disdain nomadic addicts and alcoholics.
Filth crisis vile language. Condemn always crime local alcohol Tom Ammiano supes, threaten ignored. <<
looking back, the nutcase neighbor may have been a walking perl script
