another tip jar grab, and general mayhem, Mythic Pizza, 6th and Stevenson, San Francisco, Mar29, 2007, 1:25pm
this is why it's so hard to open a business on 6th street, because this happens about every day. Three people try for the tip jar in 2 minutes, one of them grabs two condiment bottles, another is harassing the customers who promptly leave
also, the guy in the blue coat, orange cap, black backpack is yet another Tenderloin Housing Clinic resident You can see him trying to grab money from the tip jar, now on the floor. Looks like he pocketed something too. He lives right above the pizza place and hangs out most days right on this corner. proof that Tenderloin Housing Clinic adds to this areas problems

mythic pizza, low level scam
mythic pizza, 6th and Stevenson, san francisco, last friday, apr 27, 2007, 10:08pm
guy comes in(white hat) pays for a pizza, clerk hands him the change, guy immediately pockets one of the bills when clerk's not looking, then claims he didn't get the right change. Watch closely, cause it's quick and slick. the employee could have gotten fired for this

Critical Mass April 27 2007 San Francisco
part 1 (complete unedited video segments)
this is not the entire critical mass. I left around Van Ness and Market, and they continued through to Golden gate Park and back. It was all peaceful, no incidents and was well reported on. maybe next time I'll do the whole thing, but I'm having some technical issues with the record. the Archos unit sometimes reads the bullet cam as macrovision

First post, just a short clip rounding the Pyramid building...All videos from tonight will be going in this post, some on Google video as they are long, more than one hour total. I need to adjust the color a bit, it's a little green, but so far so good
this will take about 24 hours to process and upload all the videos

In the wake of the incident of motori... In the wake of the incident of motorist violence at San Francisco Critical Mass on Friday, March 30, 2007, this video is presented as a counterpoint to the gross misrepresentation in much of the Bay Area media. The hype began with a gossip column in the SF Chronicle.
The side of the story which hasn't been told: a mother in a minivan reportedly endangered her children and the demonstrators by crashing through the Critical Mass in San Francisco. She struck one cyclist, who repotedly flew 4-5 feet, and crushed the cyclist's bicycle underwheel. She then fled the scene (hit and run). Cyclists chased and detained the cyclist. One cyclist reportedly erred in throwing a bicycle at the rear of the van, which had tinted windows. None of the children inside, who were not visible, were injured. There were no further acts of agression in response to the attack. The police failed to arrest the driver, wihch is all too common in the everyday mistreatments of bicyclists, and particularly true at Critical Mass.
The attached video shows a parallel event, in which a mother terrifies her child, jumps a curb to attack, strikes a cyclist (a cancer victim, incidentally, and partially disabled), traps his foot underwheel, then pushes through and crushes the bicycle.
A police lieutenant failed to respond immediately after (audio problems need to be corrected, but you can see the cyclists are asking for justice). The full video shows that there was a police helicopter and police stationed at intersections along the way. Their failure to protect the cyclists speaks to the endemic and institutionalized discrimination against bicycling which is a foundation for the need for critical mass demonstrations. (more) (less)

more on the bike cam
some folks have been asking how the bullet cam is mounted, so here's two more closeups to try and help. The clamp is something that usually holds something to a bike frame, like a lock, but I forgot what. A friend gave it to me after I asked him for ideas (here, try this). In this case, it's being used in reverse, so that the part that usually clamps to the frame, is clamping the cam. It's screwed in using the handlebar mount, then further tied down using electrical tape in the rear of the cam. Maybe the photos will help

grabbing the tip jar at Mythic Pizza
so the owner of Mythic Pizza told me somebody tried to grab the tip jar last Friday. This is about 4:45pm, Friday 13th, Apr, 2007
Mythic Pizza, San Francisco, 6th and Stevenson. It turns out, this guy who tried to grab money out of the tip jar is one of my neighbors, who has already been causing problems around here, like climbing the roof and scaffolding late at night..
this is another resident of Tenderloin Housing Clinic. In fact, this same person was present in a previous video in the 6th street mythic pizza thread when somebody else tried to grab the spice jars
he was outside my window last week, and I'm on the 6th floor. Supposedly the management is evicting him, because he causes problems with them too. So basically, in some cases, it doesn't matter if some people get 'supportive' housing or not, they're still going to be out on the street causing problems. Anyway, here's all three angles surrounding this tip jar grab, from last friday

yet more violence at tenderloin Housing Clinic
2am this morning...Both these guys have been here for years...the little guy is a severe alcoholic, and he went into the hall because the big guy was banging on something, likely the door around the corner at 632, since that resident is in the second video. The big guy almost attacked me once, and he's also attacked this same guy before, in the same place about a year ago. At the time, the police said they couldn't do anything because I was not involved. the managment hasn't done anything either. Tenderloin Housing Clinic doesn't evict unless the STAFF gets attacked. Now do you see the result?...What's it going to take, a murder?, like what happened at another Tenderloin Housing Clinic residence recently
part 1
part 2
I get the feeling that Randy Shaw is not trying to project this image via his advocacy tool at BeyondChron, which is run right out of Tenderloin Housing Clinic offices
This, folks, is what really happens at Tenderloin Housing Clinic. This is Randy Shaws real advocacy project
update...
this is a photo of the little guys split eye
update 6:30pm, looks like they didn't arrest the guy, or maybe the management here refused to tell them who it is, even tho they know, because he came back and made veiled threats, to the wrong room too
see for yourself

Peoples Temple San Francisco
This is a screen shot taken from the new dvd Jonestown The Life and Death of people Temple. Somebody had told me years ago that it was next door to the famous Fillmore Auditorium concert hall, and I wasn't quite sure, since it's been a dirt lot ever since I could remember. In the extras on the dvd, there is this photo of what it looked like before it burned down
Sure enough, that's the Fillmore building on the left, so people standing in line to see a concert were literally at the peoples temple front door...freaky!

I bet alot of people to this day that go to the Fillmore have no idea what that dirt lot next door once was
One of the most notorious episodes in San Francisco history, if not world history..excellent dvd

critical mass Budapest 2005
a friend who lives in Budapest told me that there critical mass is now 30,000 bikers strong, fully escorted by police, and generally has the support of the city. So this is for the San Franciscans who hate critical mass so much...It was started here, after all, but look at Budapest, Hungary now

saw this in the hallway today at the Seneca, Tenderloin Housing Clinic
