the mayor on 6th street

So I'm headed back home, and i noticed 6th Street was suddenly cleaned up and the crackheads have gone away. I get into my building and there's the mayor conducting an interview with somebody in the lobby,
and the whole place is cleaned out of people except for this little crowd in the video i took

I have no idea of the context here..Seemed like a pre set up deal with just this one person to me

so now I know why 6th Street was safe for a few minutes at least. There was a large crowd of crackheads in front of this building earlier this morning, and less than 500 yards around the corner on Market Street, less than one hour earlier than this interview, this was going on (below video). And that's San Francisco Centre in the background

in fact, the next video down from Thursday night at 6:30, 'crackheads are back' is only 20 feet outside the window from where the mayor is sitting

THC in the news

Tenderloin Housing Clinic in the news again..Randy Shaw might be partially right in this. Shaw "Randy Shaw, head of the Tenderloin Housing Clinic, said Harris had lived in other properties run by the nonprofit and "was a very good tenant. It's not like it's someone off the street involved in the drug trade."

he forgot to finish the sentence tho, "that is the normal tenderloin Housing Clinic tenant"

the only one who isn't scamming welfare

This is the ONLY person I have ever seen in the entire 7 years Tenderloin Housing Clinic has been here with a broom. Out of more than 300 residents here on welfare, he is the only one, and he's a severe alcoholic, so bad you can smell it in the hallway. But you know what? At least he's honest, and likely the ONLY honest person on welfare here

Nobody else sweeps the street..every single other person claims exemptions of some kind, and nearly all of them in better physical shape than this guy. I suspect a large scale scam

the state of welfare pt1

there's a written policy here in San Francisco to keep as many homeless people housed at ALL costs. That is, to keep them off the streets and out of 'their' face, and inside and in 'our' face...so what do people have to do to actually get evicted from here?...ONLY a violent attack on the Tenderloin Housing Clinic staff or non payment of rent results in eviction here...Everything else is fair game..

here's one example. this will not result in eviction..No, tenderloin Housing Clinic makes money from this, they will not evict. Randy Shaw who heads the clinic has been called a 'poverty pimp' and you can see why

this is the amount of traffic from one night, this moring, Sunday night, mar4-5.2007, starting at 10pm and ending at 4.16am. each photo has many smaller photos each one of which is time date stamped

lotta traffic on a weeknight, huh?..This one person and his buddies are about 90% of all traffic on this entire floor late at night

this is the person on welfare who has a very large amount of traffic in and out of his room..tenderloin Hosuing Clinic won't tell me his name, and they do not want to hear about this..They too, just want to collect the welfare checks and hope I shut up...By the way, this is 4:00am in the morning on a weeknight!....These guys are likely on methamphetamine, and this guys is probably a dealer

all of these people have been on welfare for years. They are NOT looking for a job, they never have and they never will, in fact. You're supposed to look for a job on welfare and you're supposed to sweep the street twice a week All of them claim a medical waiver so they don't even sweep the street. There's only one thing these people do, collect the welfare check and party, and it's been going on for years with approval from Tenderloin Housing Clinic and Randy Shaw
