The Social Security Act of 1935 has no outreach and real mission when they do finally help it is usually just SSI and no supervision.Most end up homeless again quickly.
What I have learned that I would have never known about if I did not need help myself.I am that boomer who worked for thirty years just to find a Safety Net that has been used as a hammock for years and a totally underfunded supportive housing network.Then Gavin Newsom had the nerve to say care for crackheads was award winning.The best thing Gavin did was listen to Rose and Willie and appoint Ed Lee and LEAVE.Ed Lee is an activist who will be good as an advocate for housing.He is already manipulating MERCY to sweeten the St Lukes pot with more affordable housing.Good for Ed and Good for SF.
